Crazy Kong Remix is the new Crazy Kong version of Donkey Kong Remix!
Crazy Kong 2023 Revision is a new, updated version of Crazy Kong Part II that fixes and improves many of Crazy Kong's visual and graphical glitches, reintroduces many of the missing in-game animations and even adds hammer music when you have the hammer.
Essentially it is a quality-of-life improvement to Crazy Kong to enhance how it looks and feels and fixes some of the strange glitches to bring the game closer in presentation to Donkey Kong. All of the game quirks like the floor skip and the hammer drop trick and unique gameplay of Crazy Kong all still work exactly as expected!
Big Kong and Crazy Kong Alternate Levels are alternate versions of Crazy Kong and Crazy Kong Part II that have alternate stages for more varied and challenging gameplay. These game boards were hard to find but now you can play them on your Crazy Kong PCB!
- Switch between games using the game select menu
- Each game retains high scores
- Free-Play option
- Separate settings for each game
- Any game can be set as the default
- Your original PCB ROMs can still be played even with the kit installed
- 10 unique stages plus three bonus stages.
- Many stages have multiple variations as the game progresses.
- The ability to jump with blue hammers.
- New game mechanics like collapsing floors on the new Rivets stages and the ability to crush the fireballs below.
- Reversible elevators in the 3rd. Rivets stage and all six elevators have been restored to the game.
- The game has a new kill screen that cranks things up for an exciting finish.
The Crazy Kong Remix Multi-Game kit adds six versions of Crazy Kong to your Crazy Kong arcade board:
- Crazy Kong Remix
- Crazy Kong
- Crazy Kong Part II
- Crazy Kong 2023 Revision
- Big Kong
- Crazy Kong Alternate Levels
- This kit simply plugs into the Z80 socket of your Crazy Kong PCB. Remove the Z80, plug it into the kit and then plug the kit into the Z80 socket.
- The kit is compatible with most Crazy Kong PCBs, including ones made my Falcon, Alca, Jeutel, Orca and clones of the Falcon hardware. It is not compatible with "bootlegs-of-bootlegs" like the versions of Crazy Kong that run on Scramble, Galaxian or other unusual hardware.
- If your Crazy Kong board has strange colors (eg: green girders on the barrel screen) the colors will look different from the images shown.
- Make sure that the Z80 CPU on your Crazy Kong PCB is socketed! Some Crazy Kong boards (notably those from Falcon and Orca) may have the Z80 soldered directly to the PCB. If that is the case, you will need to first desolder the Z80 and solder in a 40 pin socket to use this kit.
