Features of the Darksoft CPS2 Multigame Kit | Champion Edition
Do you want to have all your favorite CPS2 games available on one machine? The Darksoft CPS2 multikit is the answer! This amazing piece of hardware allows you to play all your favorites on the original CPS2 base. This is not an emulation, these games are running on original hardware!
The Multi CPS-2 Cart can be used on an original CPS-2 B board (You have to remove all the original ROMs from the board) You can put all your favorite CPS2 games on a Micro SD.
- The cartridge requires a microSD Card (not included) in order to run the games.
- Check out ARCADE PROJECTS FORUM for more information about available games. If there is any game or sound that you are not legally entitled to play, you should delete it.
- It's recommended to discharge your body touching ground, before handling this cartridge or the motherboard as you'd do when handling any of your other arcade PCBs.
- Please note - This product will ship with signature required and insurance

The Darksoft CPS2 Kit is a great easy to use product. From opening my kit to running my first game was less than thirty minutes. Being able to play any CPS2 game is just great for those of us who don't have alot of storage space available for separate boards. This kit is a must have for anyone who wants to play CPS2 games.

Great Product At Lightening Speed
Got it blazing fast. Ordered on a Thursday, evening, and arrived Monday evening. The kit is awesome! My B-board has a PAL F, and I found that I didn't have to make any jumper/pin changes. Some light soldering since my board doesn't have a CN9 connector. Potentially solder free solution for folks with newer boards. Great wizardry in new kit. Much wow(za).

This is an excellent kit and works fantastically for the CPS2 hardware. One thing I would note is if you are converting an older revision (ie. 3, 4, 5) to a PAL G, you will have to lift pin 9 and connect it to the jumper. The instructions weren't so clear in that regard, but glad I got it working!!

Why doesn't Highscoresaves use USPS to ship Darksoft products internationally?
There are 2 reasons -
- We require a signature upon delivery for all Darksoft products, it's stated in the description of each item. This is because it isn't our product that we made, but, a great product that someone else (Darksoft) made and we are trusted to be the USA Distributor for it. We need to ensure that it arrives safely to each and every customer.
- We have noticed that USPS is having LONG delay times in customs for certain countries. This is due to the country's customs or due to the recent COVID-19. We have seen it take over 6 weeks to even leave the USA, so we only offer Premium International shipping. ie. UPS or DHL that take 2-5 business days and gets the required signature of receipt of package.
Which game, or cps2 card, works perfectly with the darksoft cps2 champion edition kit?
Any is good. There were some weird B boards without connectors to plug the kit in of the older revisions.
In general, revision 6 or 7 are the easiest to install the kit and they have the 6 pin connector for key injection.
Is there a version board that would make this a solderless install? Thanks.
The new Champion Edition is if you get the optional key writing cable!
My B board is missing the CN6 socket (93646B-3). I was ready to do any soldering to prepare this board, but had not ran across any correspondence that identified some B boards come without CN6. Is my only option to find another B board? Thanks!
Yes, too much hassle finding the part and soldering it there. Easiest and most economical by far is finding a new B Board.
