Great product, shipped fast. Used the forums to answer a few quick questions and been playing since!
Exactly what it is supposed to be
The 4 player Arpicade is 100% plug and play. I was up and playing all my favorite games within minutes of receiving the package. Joe and staff went above and beyond to answer any and all questions I had before during and after my purchase. I have played most of the games all the way through and have 0 issues with any of the games. Thank you for helping me clean out my pcb collection ! this is the way forward and I am never looking back !
Had to wait a while for this to be built. Nice that I was informed by email about this, I didn't mind waiting but my husband did. Received a tracking notice email and it arrived safely. Well packaged and we were playing TMNT in about 10 minutes. We are ve
I never need to buy an original pcb again. This thing is too awesome!!
As simple as it gets. Ordered the whole package with all the options. Pulled out of the box and plugged it in. So so so cool!
I have a jamma cab that has a Pandora's Box connected currently. The Jamma harness I am using has wiring for 6 action buttons per player. If I use the same jamma harness with the arpicade, and use the dip switches, will it work with the 6 button harness or is the kick harness required to be used?
Possibly, yes, if you have a fully wired JAMMA harness that is set up for it. The kick harness is for those who do not, or, for those who like to use their cabinet for regular wired JAMMA. The 6 buton JAMMA layout you are speaking of is for pcbs like Pandora Box and the like, we like to call that "CHAMMA" (Chinese JAMMA in the arcade scene....
The ground wires are set a bit different and you may need to change that, however, the dip settings can be used to move it around without actually pulling and moving wires under your control panel. Guess, the only major issue would be ground. Click the box below
I have no idea how to hook this kick harness up. Is it trial and error? I tried to connect button 4 on player 1 to all six options. No luck yet.
Take a look at this pic (it's a zoom in from one of the gallery pics). This tells you which wire goes to what button on your control panel. NOTE - Buttons 4, 5 and 6 are the bottom row of 3 buttons from left to right foe each player. Think about a Street Fighter control panel, then it's the bottom row of buttons.
Ensure that you have a good ground wire. I would just tap off of the top row of buttons or the joystick. Look at your top row buttons to see which lug the kick harness goes to and which lug the ground wire should be on...
Why doesn't Highscoresaves ship this USPS anymore?
There are 2 reasons -
- This is because it isn't our product that we made here in the USA, but, a great product that someone else (Dylan) made and we are trusted to be the USA Distributor for it. We need to ensure that it arrives safely to each and every customer.
- We have noticed that USPS is having LONG delay times in customs for certain countries. This is due to the country's customs or due to the recent COVID-19. We have seen it take over 6 weeks to even leave the USA, so we only offer Premium International shipping. ie. UPS or DHL that take 2-5 business days and gets the required signature of receipt of package.
Does this pcb support stereo output for games with stereo sound? Any special wiring setup required for the stereo speaker connection or is it plug and play?
To connect to a stereo amp use the audio output on the DAC to the stereo amp, no software changes should be needed.
