Reproduction of the joystick sub board used on original Cabal PCB.
The reproduction will allow you to use a joystick in place of the trackball on your original Cabal PCB.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Besides the sub board, you need to burn and install the proper ROM set on your Cabal PCB to turn it from trackball to joystick version. (ROM set is not included)
Note -
When converting from trackball version, please replace the two uPD4701AC at location 1C-2C on bottom board with the joystick sub-board.
Works
Board worked great. You will have to find the roms and burn them on four ST27C512. The pins are very brittle be careful when inserting. Joystick is not as accurate as a trakball but at least the game is playable which is not the fault of the board.
